Producing one-of-a-kind apparel and works on paper since late-summer, 2005.
To date, five editions of apparel (tshirts, sweatshirts and other tops) have
been produced, and are available exclusively from HYMY Industries at a few
select events, or directly from the designers. (We are working on an online system - stay tuned)
HYMY is also producing an ongoing series of works on paper, incorporating
screen-printed images and hand drawing.
Additionally, HYMY Industries has undertaken a few commissioned works.
20 AUG 07 · Hello again, especially to those of you we've met in the past 6 months or so, most recently at Purple Door. In the last update, we hinted that things would be changing around here, and they definitely are. Most notably, we've welcomed a third collaborator into our core, and are working hard at growing a nice body of work. The largest project lately has been the Starflyer 59 10 7" vinyl box set, released on Burnt Toast Vinyl. It's a subscription series, and it's being slowly released in installments throughout the rest of the year. We're working on getting this site to reflect the new paths we're undertaking; expect exciting things.
20 MAR 07 · You may notice some changes are afoot around here. Most notably, we're in the process of adding some more of our work to the site and even making some of it available for sale via mail order. Slowly but surely, we will be adding more and more items, so check back regularly.
Also of note, the previously mentioned LP project has been progressing. It's taking longer than we thought it would, but we are really excited about it. We're planning a few more special vinyl projects with our friends at Burnt Toast Vinyl to be released by the end of the year.
11 DEC 06 · Thanks to everyone who came out for Art Shop. It was a
lot of fun, even though we were a bit under the weather and worn out, respectively.
We are currently attempting to get some sort of online sales up and running,
so check back for that. Also, if you live in the Philadelphia area, you could
get in touch and stop by to buy from
our stock.
In other news, we are currently in a pre-design stage on a very special LP
project for Burnt
Toast Vinyl, who we are pretty closely associated with. Hopefully that
project will begin to see the light of day in January.
